Bilal H. Malik focuses his practice on investment management with a specific focus on private investment companies (fund(s)) and registered investment advisers, including the representation of investment advisers of U.S. and non-U.S. hedge funds and other private investment funds, international mutual funds, fund-of-funds, private equity pools, and commodity pools. Mr. Malik has significant experience assisting advisers with entity formation and organization, and ongoing compliance responsibilities relating to the U.S. and the specific states therein, and to various non-U.S. jurisdictions.

Mr. Malik’s previous professional experience was as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory Services group.

Devlin H. Dwyer   

Devlin H. Dwyer provides comprehensive support to the investment management practice, including fund organization, assisting with the representation of investment advisers of U.S. and non-U.S. hedge funds and other private investment funds, international mutual funds, fund-of-funds, private equity pools, and commodity pools. Mr. Dwyer also focuses on mutual fund compliance, including Federal and state securities filings, corporate governance and disclosure matters.

Stephen Adams   |   Offshore Counsel

Mr. Adams focuses his practices on investment management, specifically non-U.S. fund formation. Mr. Adams has over 10 years of offshore experience dealing with a wide range of facets relating to investment funds, hedge funds, alternative investments and capital markets transactions. Mr. Adams is the founding principal of ABM Corporate Services in the British Virgin Islands ("BVI"), an entity specializing in offshore corporate services.

Mr. Adams, previously was the Senior Corporate Partner of premier offshore law firm, Walkers, in the British Virgin Islands. Mr. Adams moved to the BVI from the Hong Kong law office of Baker & McKenzie where he was a member of the firm's international tax group.
